Well, it depends. Sometimes a spouse has to sign the warranty deed and maybe some other documents. The settlement agent's going to let you know that, but a closing with a spouse is the same as any other closing. It could be done in the office, or it could be done somewhere else. Again, a settlement agent has to be able to coordinate this.
